You talk for as long as it's good, moving on costs one tap, and the only thing you have to go on is the thing that actually predicts chemistry: how someone sounds when they're talking to you.
Two taps: who you are, and who you're hoping to talk to. There is no form, no email and no password, and nothing you pick is stored anywhere after you close the tab. It's used once, as a matching hint, and then it's gone.
We put you in a private room with exactly one other person and open both microphones. There's no lobby, no queue screen to stare at and no profile to read first. The first thing you learn about them is their voice, which is roughly the order that works in real life too.
There's no time limit and no countdown. A clock on screen simply shows how long you've been talking, so a great conversation can run for an hour and a flat one costs you one tap. Nothing forces you out of a date that's going well.
Whenever either of you taps 'I clicked', a private prompt appears for both of you: did you click? Yes or no, one tap, and the other person never learns your answer unless it matches theirs. That asymmetry is the whole point — a no costs you nothing socially, so people answer honestly.
Two yeses give you a match. You keep talking for as long as you both want, and you're each shown the same keep code so you can find your way back to each other. Anything other than two yeses moves you both straight into a new date with somebody else, with no message, no rejection screen and no awkward goodbye.
Video dating fails for a reason: cameras attract exactly the behaviour that makes a platform unusable, and they turn a conversation into a performance. Voice keeps everything that matters — humour, warmth, timing, accent, hesitation — and removes the part people abuse. Nothing is recorded, there is no video stream at all, and there is nothing anyone can screenshot.
